Play Makers Work
The job description of the team is summarized in the following work to ensure that the organization of the event venues (athlete village, Transition zone, Finish Line zone, awards location, race terrain in earth’s ground and/or water) and the facilitation, safety and health of athletes and spectators of the event. The willingness, responsibility, discipline, pleasant mood, source smile, patience, cooperation and team spirit, coolness, teamwork and focus on the result are the recipe for the successful work of the Play Maker.
The following are the fields of this so essential work, led by the organizer:
1. Contribute to the organization, setting up and realization of the temporary sports facility.
2. Facilitation - guidance - information for athletes, escorts, spectators and partners of the organizer.
3. Continuous vigilance and awareness for general safety and potential need of a colleague, athlete, and others. (More pairs of eyes keep watch and monitor the situation).
4. Contribute to the organization and service of athletes and stakeholders in the organization's secretariat.
5. Contribute to the implementation of Pasta and More Party for the empowerment of athletes.
6. Contribute to the maintenance of cleanliness at the venues of the event, including water supplies and race terrain.
7. Participation in athletic supplies (water, gel, refreshments, bananas etc).
8. Contributing to athletic guidance either before and after, or during the race.
9. Contribute to maintaining the exclusion of racing terrain from the risk of vehicle and pedestrian entry.
10. Contribute to recreational activities and quick installation - uninstall.
11. Contribution to the awarding of the prizes.
12. Contributing to the protection of athletes' property by blocking access to areas (Change Zone, equipment storage, etc.).
13. Contribution to management of emergencies and needs (strong winds - rain, accident, program modification, external emergency etc.).

By submitting my details to the event (in any form I fill in with my information), I also give my consent to the organization to use this information to serve my request, but also to export lists of participations in competitions, a list of Play Makers, timing results, etc. I also declare that I consent to the communication of the event with me in any way whatsoever the organization deems necessary for my timely information, by means of the details I submitted (e-mail, mail, phone call, sms etc.).By signing up, as a Play Maker, I also give my consent in advance for the creation, by the organizer, of the audiovisual material (video and photos) and its use for the promotion of the event in Greece and abroad. Also, for the publication of the photographic material on the website of the event so that the athletes and all interested persons will be able to acquire this material.

Kids fun bike
On the island, wheeled vehicles (and bicycles) are prohibited and therefore the organization fully embraces the culture and traditions of the island.
This activity is mainly entertaining and aims to occupy children pleasantly and creatively, with an action of balance mainly but also of thought - intellect.
This competition is conducted with competition per year and regardless of the age of children. The only difference is that each child chooses the size of the wooden bike to use between two of her bicycles - which are available.
The goal of each child is to move between two parallel of a total distance of about 20 meters, without stepping down and without coming out of the two lines, at the slowest time.
The winner is the participant and the participant who will make the distance in the longest time and will be awarded.
Kids Running Relays
These are short-distance relay races (50-100 meters depending on the age categories), in groups of 2 children (each group).
Young athletes will take part in three age categories:
- Primary school (4th, 5th and 6th grade)
- Gymnasium
- Lyceum
The first athletes from each team stand behind a line formed on the floor to give the start, while the second of each team will take a seat on the same line, as soon as the start is given.
The athletes run a straight distance of 25 or 50 meters, in order to cross a second line formed on the floor and return back to hand over the baton to the second of their team, who will also run the same distance and do the same so that each of the two athletes of the team has competed twice.
The awards are by age category and: pure girls, pure boys, mixed teams.
Kids Lazer Run
It is a new sport, an initiation into the modern pentathlon and multisports.
Young athletes will take part in three age categories:
- Primary school (4th, 5th and 6th grade)
- Gymnasium
- Lyceum
The event contains alternation from running to shooting on a target with a weapon (completely harmless), which should be armed by the athlete and successfully mark the target (lights a light bulb when achieved) 5 times.
The available time to achieve 5 times the goal is 50 seconds, in which if he has not managed to achieve it 5 times, he continues on the run having suffered only the delay of 50 seconds (there is no accuracy score but only time savings).
The faster the athlete is on target, the more time savings he achieves and continuing in running, he is more likely to achieve a better overall time and therefore a place.
The timing is total, from the beginning they will start running, to the end when they will also finish running. In total, there are 3 run legs (a total of 600 - 800 meters) and two on the mark with a gun for the small class, while they are 4 running legs (800 - 1,000 meters) and 3rd at the mark with the gun in the two older age categories.
The event takes place in groups of 5 athletes and based on time the final trio of the podium is determined.
The weapons are listed on a special table (one table for each weapon, in order next to each other) and each athlete chooses the table that will stand for his shots (5 successful or more if he is misplaced).
The difficulty of the sport occurs in stabilizing the weapon and targeting when the athlete has raised pulses. Weapons are completely harmless when using them.
Judges control the process of both targeting with the gun and keeping the run route.
The awards are by age category and gender. The sport is part of the Olympic sport: Modern Pentathlon, consisting in addition to the Lazer Run of Fencing, swimming and horseback riding!
Kids Yoga
Combining play with exercise, the result is magical! Here there is no winner and loser! Here we all gain the joy of connecting with the team! Yoga, play and exercise for "children" of all ages by excellent yoga instructors with love for children. (Suggested ages: 4 & older).
Night Hiking for all
It is an recreational activity of young and old, which aims to love the island, to walk and exercise in this way but also to become a group among us.
The route to be followed is about 5 km and follows an already engraved path. It takes place at the beginning of the night to have more action and interest.
The participants will be divided into two groups according to their own statement, so that the quick group will be preceded by the one with the most relaxed.

Choose your couple wisely!
SwimRun, despite being composed of swimming and running, is unique, exciting and opens up a completely new world to multisport. The world of "together in the very difficult situation"!
It's the sport that requires you to get a new mind set before you even deal with it. Apart from training your body, it requires you to invest a lot in nous (mind) training! Anyone who underestimates this will regret it at the race, without a relief valve, no easy solutions available and in many times painful!
The critical difference of the sport is the decision to race with an equivalent partner/athlete next to you. Tied together, you claim the common effort, the powerful experience, the unforgettable finishing, the indelible emotional charge.
How can you make the right choice for your fellow athlete?
It's not a one-time choice, a partnership in a race and then the end. It is a commitment to a joint effort, including the preparation, but also the equal sharing of the feeling of achieving overcoming in the end!
You will make the choice on your own. But in order to help you do the right choice, we've gathered here the distillation of the experience of those who did it before you:
- Find the person who suits your character. Not the one you can handle easily, the one you can impose on, the one you can blame for an unfavorable result.
- Athletes at equal level in both sports, can have a very good result. Experience has shown that the ideal pair emerge from a couple of athletes of equal skills, with the one having slight lead in swimming and the other in running. In this case, the one encourages the other in each phase and finally, they achieve a higher score as a pair than expected on a basis on a combination of individual performance (if they had done it individually and calculated the average).
- Find your partner long before the race and set a training plan. Common trainings make the couple develop together, both in practice and in character matching.
- Set your goal. Specific, measurable, achievable. Talk together about it. Find strength, visualize yourself succeeding! These experiences are useful when retracted at the time of the final attempt on the race.
- Commit to the goal and the joint effort. The sirens will be many along the way and you have to honor your choice (sponsors, other suggestions, third-party words, etc.).
- Don't commit to more than one race. This commitment is more likely to fail than those of re-engagement upon achievement. It won’t help you during the race efforts to have in mind a further commitment.
- Focus on the goal. Training and mentally.
- Experience it to the fullest.
- After the race consider this a joint achievement and not as an individual success, even if the one of you has a sponsor, or you are determined not to continue with this particular fellow athlete, or the other’s performance was not as expected and made it difficult for you.
- Before you decide whether you will continue this effort together, solve all the problems that came up during the preparation period and the race. Take advantage of the asset gained.
- Many strong friendships have been born through such experiences!
